Mark Baltier, Chief Financial Officer

As Chief Financial Officer at StreamBase, Mark Baltier oversees financial, human resource and legal functions. Mark has more than 25 years of experience in financial management with a specialty in computer software and technology industries. Most recently, Mark served as Chief Financial Officer of XyEnterprise, which is a worldwide leader in Component Content Management (CCM) and Dynamic Publishing solutions. XyEnterprise was acquired by SDL, PLC in 2009.

Prior to joining XyEnterprise, Mark was Chief Financial Officer of Reef Point Systems, the leader in providing secured access infrastructure to converged telecommunications networks. During his tenure, Reef Point raised over $50M in venture capital funding and successfully merged with Nextone Communications creating NextPoint Networks. In 2000, Mark served as Chief Financial Officer at Phonetic Systems, a leading provider in speech automated solutions, and raised over $38M in venture capital funding. Phonetic Systems was acquired by Nuance in 2005. His earlier experiences also include key leadership positions at Voicetek (acquired by Aspect Telecommunications), Concord Data Systems (acquired by Memotec) and Advanced Video Products (acquired by E-Systems).  Mark earned an MBA from Babson College and received a BS in Accounting from Bentley University.
