StreamBase Appoints Stephen Bailey Vice President of Professional Services 

LEXINGTON, MA – November 9, 2009  – StreamBase Systems, Inc., a leading provider of high-performance Complex Event Processing (CEP) software, today announced the appointment of Stephen Bailey to the position of Vice President of Professional Services.

“The rapidly growing need for managing data streams in real-time is moving CEP technology into mainstream, enterprise-wide deployment,” said Stephen Bailey, Vice President of Professional Services at StreamBase Systems. “I am looking forward to leading StreamBase customers to broad, successful implementations, and working with the StreamBase executive team as we grow globally.”
 
Mr. Bailey joins StreamBase with over twenty-five years of technology and services experience in the financial technology sector.  Mr. Bailey’s previous roles include executive and senior management positions at Trillium Software, Edgewater Technology, Digital Equipment Corporation, The Boston Company and Shaw Data Services.

As Vice President of Professional Services, Mr. Bailey will manage StreamBase’s growing global technical field teams. He will be based out of StreamBase’s headquarters in Lexington, MA just outside Boston.
